Story in The King In Yellow by Robert W. Chambers.

Set in the Latin Quarter of Paris, this story is set around the titular street begins with a student pointing out artist Foxhall Clifford to Selby, a new arrival in Paris, who goes on to fall in love with a nameless girl – whom he christens, having no better information to go on, by the name of the street. Features the characters Elliott, Rowden, Colette and Odette. Other than general artistic themes, the story seems to have no real connection to the Yellow Mythos.
