Final story in a trilogy by John Tynes that began with Ambrose and Broadalbin. It was released in 2000 as a 100-copy chapbook. It was subsequently republished in Cyaegha #12 (December 2014).
It's the tale of Madame Sosostris, a fortune-teller with a wicked pack of cards, who comes to the Broadalbin Hotel in depression-era New York City with a mysterious nephew and a byzantine plan.
According to online discussion, it includes or references The Queen In Red, but this is unconfirmed at this time.
