Thanks

From The Yellow Site

The 'Big Five' I'd like to thank, in order that I've discovered and been inspired by them, are as follows:

  • Robert W. Chambers, of course, who wrote The King In Yellow (The Book), and whose work I found about five years after being introduced to the idea of the accursed play. Discovering the book in the shops initially had me wondering if the play actually existed - reading the stories within made me glad it didn't. A beautiful book of short stories.
  • Henrik Johnsson, whose site I discovered a while after, one of the most comprehensive sites about The King In Yellow and Robert W. Chambers that you could hope to find online - that you unfortunately don't seem to be able to find anymore. His site is an inspiration for this one, and whilst I'm hoping it might be as informative I'm hoping it isn't simply a straight copy of his.
  • John Tynes, whose work with elements of The King In Yellow I first glossed over when playing the game, and later found to be instrumental in promoting the idea of The King as a surreal and maddening figure distinct from the vague ideas of Hastur as a large scary shapeless tentacled blob. Someone who has brought The King In Yellow back to what it once suggested, and has built on top of that. Furthermore, as co-creator of Delta Green, he has helped bring The Cthulhu Mythos (and through it The Hastur Mythos and Yellow Mythos) into the modern day.

Thanks, too, for everyone on the Delta Green message boards, who I'll attempt to credit where I can! Any input that you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
